Ok, so this weekend I was crazy and did something I know I shouldn’t have… Friday evening, I went over to a good friend and co-worker’s and she recently got a Nintendo Wii… We played on the Wii and I had a great time, we called a co-worker and she also came over and we had a ball playing on the Wii. After that I knew I had to get one! I’ve been wanting one for quite some time. On Saturday, I called all over Greensboro and of course no one had one, but one Wal-Mart I called said they would have some on Sunday. I asked when and they said they open at 6 a.m. I thought, well I’ll just have to get up early so I can be sure to get one. So I got to Wal-Mart around 5:50 and there was already someone there. By the time 6:00 came, there were about 5 people waiting to get Wiis. They had 10 and the manager gave us slips of paper that we took to electronics to get our Wii. Although I have only played on it for about an hour or so, I really enjoy it. It’s hooked up to the internet and I am looking forward to being able to play games with different people all over.

Well, things are a little stressful right now… To be honest, I’m feeling rather lonely right now. There’s only so much being at home alone that I can take. Before I moved at least I had Sam to keep me company. Now I have no one unless someone is visiting. Sometimes the loneliness is worse than others and right now it’s pretty bad. I wish there was something I can do, but I don’t know of anything. It’s not like I have money to go out and do anything, so I’m just stuck here by myself. Listen to me, throwing a freaking pity party…
On another note, last Friday I bought a bicycle so I can now bike to work. I’ve been biking since Monday… Yeah, I biked in the snow. It wasn’t that bad. And it’s only about 5 minutes to work, so not a long commute and I’ll be saving gas as well as not paying for parking anymore.
Well, that’s what is going on with me right now…

So it’s been a really long time since I wrote in my blog. I’ve been pretty busy, a lot of stuff going on… I’ve finally gotten settled in my apartment. The only thing I need to do is put some pictures on the walls. I took some pictures, if you’d like to see them go to apartment.jonathanbritton.com. It’s beginning to feel like home. I’m still getting used to it somewhat and I’m really having to get used to all the bills that come with living on my own. I’ll be fine but it’s kind of tight right now… I’m really hoping for a raise in July.
I had to drop my class because I just couldn’t handle it right now. With my current situation, I’ve had to start working 7 days a week so I can try to make ends meet. I’m hoping that I will be able to make ends meet. I’m pretty sure I will but it will be very close.
On another note, I just moved into my own office at work. I like having my own office, however my current furniture is not working. It sounds like I will be getting some new furniture in the near future. Also I found out that I may be getting more responsibility at work… hoping that adds to my raise… I need more money if I’m supposed to do more work…
Well, it’s about bedtime for me…
